Why give a Basket of Care?
When we hear the news that a friend, coworker, neighbor, or family member has fallen ill or is no longer able to take care of themselves alone, our first response is “What can I do?” Often, we just want to send something along that lets them know how much we care and that we’re thinking of them. Flowers or plants just don’t fit the need. And what of the caregiver? How can you express that you care about them, too? It feels great to know that those who need your caring support have received a gift basket that truly says “I’m here to support you.”
Baskets of Care are designed by people who have experienced caregiving firsthand. Each basket is lovingly packaged with many things any patient or caregiver will need to help them through their journey. Whether it’s a small personal flashlight to prevent a fall at night or a warm blanket to make cold nights more comfortable, each item has been thoughtfully selected to say “I care about you and what you’re going through.” |
